Constructionarium Australia is delighted to announce that in partnership with Pensar Infrastructure, a new Story Bridge Build will take place in November 2019.

Comprising an 8-day programme, the initiative is designed to provide undergraduates, postgraduate students and early-stage professionals with high-quality classroom training and practical onsite experience as they work together to construct a 25m replica of Brisbane’s iconic Story Bridge.

Executive Director, Harry Hartman was delighted to announce the new build “It is always exciting to announce that another programme is about to commence and we are thrilled that Pensar has come on board to act as the main contractor. Constructionarium Australia could not exist without the support and commitment of our industry, and the passion shown by Reese and the team at Pensar to help us to invest in future engineering leaders is to be commended.”

“Registrations are open for the build, and we would encourage university students to apply as soon as possible and for early-stage career professionals to have conversations with their leaders to secure their place on the programme. The benefits of participating are significant as we run each build in a live site environment and cover every aspect of a major infrastructure project from tender to final completion and client handover.”

Pensar’s Director Civil Infrastructure, Reese Deaves, outlined the importance of investing in the future “We are excited about teaming with Constructionarium Australia to work with the future leaders of our industry to deliver a hands-on experience that will assist in their growth and development. With the next Story Bridge Build fast approaching, Pensar is honoured to support this great initiative and being part of developing our next generation of construction professionals.“

The build will take place at the Construction Training Centre in Salisbury from 27 November to 6 December; interested participants can apply at using the form below.
